Community Connector Chair
Do you find yourself sharing the joy of family history research with others? This position reaches out to local community organizations, with the help of other community connector volunteer team members, to bring family history research to members of the community through the coordination of speakers and experts at presentations, events and other opportunities. Coordinate speakers and volunteers to share the joy of family history research while highlighting the benefits of an AGS membership, including what our library has to offer through presentations, workshops, and other events. The Community Connector Chair has the opportunity to reach out to other community organizations to share the joy of family research. In this role, you will work with organizations such as the Edmonton Public Library, seniors' residences and organizations, community leagues, and other societies to coordinate presentations, workshops, and our presence at trade shows. You also have the opportunity to bring AGS to local events through the coordination of booths, presentations and volunteers to reach new members!
